Dr Davies currently provides Veterinary technical consultation services to The Saskatoon Colostrum Company Ltd., Canada – global leaders in the research, manufacture and distribution of whole bovine colostrum.
DHHPS – Dairy Herd Health and Productivity Service
Metabolic profile blood testing carried out with Professor Alastair Macrae of The University of Edinburgh farm animal department to identify dietary problems before they become apparent on the farm. This can take the form of one-off testing or DHHPS membership where routine testing (normally quarterly) and reporting is carried out for an annual membership fee.
In 2023 Dr Davies was approved as a Vetsalus consultant. VetSalus is a committed group of international veterinarians with expertise in all aspects of ‘One Health’, in particular animal health, welfare and sustainable agriculture. VetSalus provides veterinary consultancy and expert advice across a variety of areas, including Animal Welfare, Antimicrobial Usage and Sustainable Animal Production Systems.
All VetSalus consultants are independent veterinarians who meet strict approval criteria.
