Dr Ryan Davies BVM&S MRCVS

Veterinary Technical Consulting Ltd was founded by Dr Ryan Davies, an experienced farm animal veterinary surgeon with over twenty-five years of clinical and consultancy experience.

Dr Davies graduated with honours in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery from The University of Edinburgh (2002), where his dissertation focused on transition cow management and nutrition. His career has centred on preventative herd health, dairy cow fertility, and reducing antimicrobial reliance through improved nutrition, management and disease prevention.

He was a keynote speaker at the 2024 World Buiatrics Congress in Cancun, Mexico, and in 2025 published peer-reviewed research on transition milk feeding in pasture-based herds in the Journal of Dairy Science.

Driven by a strong commitment to One Health and sustainability, Dr Davies is an approved VetSalus consultant, supporting integrated solutions that benefit animal, human, and environmental health.
