With over 20 years experience analysing farm data, Dr Davies has recently completed full Dairycomp Consultant training provided by the programme developer, VAS. This includes analysis of reproductive data, mastitis & SCC recordings (NMR & CIS) and transition cow analysis.

Biannual Dairycomp consultant reviews facilitate assessment of herd health and disease status, quantitative analysis of housing facilities, management procedures, nutrition and performance data.
Veterinary Technical Consulting Ltd. will classify performance figures by herd type, location and management strategies to compare to similar units and provide benchmark KPI’s.
This information will be processed and analysed to identify and prioritise areas which require attention. These ‘bottlenecks’ are the most important factors in limiting the productivity of a producer, and they are unique to each farm.
